  Parma First Time Home Buyer Down Payment Assistance - This program provides down payment assistance of up to 10% of the purchase price, maximum $10,000, for first time home buyers. Funds are limited and are expected to go very quickly this year. Applications taken begining March 2, 2009.
  The NEW Federal Tax Credit - $8,000 tax credit for first time home buyers.
  OHFA First-Time Homebuyer Program - Thousands of low- and moderate-income Ohioans have purchased homes of their own thanks to OHFA¿s First-Time Homebuyer Program. The competitive interest rates and mortgage options on their 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage loans make it affordable for qualifying buyers to realize the dream of homeownership.
  OHFA Ohio Heroes Program - Ohio heroes make a difference in our lives by working hard in critical jobs every day. OHFA is proud to offer all the benefits of their First-Time Homebuyer Program to Ohio¿s heroes at a 1/4% lower interest rate. The Ohio Heroes Program is available to the following full-time employees who are: Active Military, Active Reserve, Veterans, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Health Care Workers, Police Officers, and Teachers.
  OHFA Down Payment Assistance Grant - If paying for a down payment and closing costs have kept you from getting into a home of your own, OHFA's Down Payment Assistance Grant may be able to help. Eligible borrowers participating in the First-Time Homebuyer Program, Target Area Loan Program, and Ohio Heroes Program can use the grant to greatly reduce the out-of-pocket expenses associated with buying a home.

  OHFA Mortgage Credit Certificate Program - Mortgage Credit Certificates (MCCs) can help some families realize the dream of homeownership. An MCC creates an income tax deduction that reduces a household's federal income tax liability and allows the household to have more available income to make mortgage payments.
